What is dodo? 

  • dodo is a plantain inspired (food) delivery service specializing in perfectly portioned, premium plantain products that have been frozen at peak freshness 

Do I have to subscribe to order dodo pouches? 

  • No way! You may order dodo pouches as frequently as you please 

Can I cancel my order? 

  • You may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchase for any reason 

Why are your plantains frozen and not “fresh”? 

  • Great question! We believe that "Freshness can be frozen" when you properly harvest the plantains and apply efficient and effective freezing methods to lock in nutrients thereby literally freezing in the freshness. We also prefer the convenience of frozen over "fresh" because frozen portions mean less waste as plantains generally ripen after a while and typically get thrown away when very soft 

Do your plantain products come with preparation instructions? 

  • Absolutely! Each order comes with easy prep instructions in the box. Don’t know where to find it? No problem, click the link here to find some easy prep instructions 

What are the ingredients/nutrition facts?

  • Hint: there's only one ingredient. Our nutrition facts can be found on our product pages 

What cities does dodo deliver products to? 

  • We deliver to most cities in the 5 regions of the Greater Toronto Area: Durham, Halton, Peel, Toronto and York region. More cities and provinces COMING SOON! 

How is my dodo order packed for delivery? 

  • All dodo pouches are packed in 100% curbside recyclable box with dry ice to ensure proper temperature upon delivery 

What is the shelf-life of dodo?

  • So long it remains frozen, dodo has a shelf-life of 12-18 months once it's packaged at our facility. However, we recommend you consume your dodo within 4-6 months of purchase

What is your refund policy? 

  • Orders should be inspected carefully upon delivery and claims should be requested within 12 hours of delivery. With that said, if you aren’t happy, then we aren’t happy. If we missed the boat, we will make it right 

Is shipping/delivery included on all orders? 

  • Whether you're ordering a pack (3 pouches) or hundreds of pouches, our flat rate delivery fee will be just $9.99. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 11:59PM EST will be delivered the coming Saturday. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be delivered the following weekend.
